JIM BRANCH holds a Master’s in Forest Resources from the University of Georgia. He is President and CEO of Branch Timberlands, Inc. and Natural Resource Consultants, LLC. Jim founded these companies in 1998 to provide timberland management, forestry consulting and land acquisition services. He has extensive experience in wood product sourcing and procurement. His knowledge of wood markets as well as contacts within the forest products industry has proven to be invaluable in locating and coordinating wood product procurement. In addition, Jim has worked with local landowners and commercial sellers for site analysis and acquisition. Jim’s experience and intricate knowledge of the forest industry make him a tremendous asset to any project.
ELIZABETH BRANCH holds a Master of Science in Wildlife Biology with a certificate in Conservation Ecology and Sustainable Development from the University of Georgia. She has been principal and owner of Natural Resource Consultants, LLC since 1998 and has extensive experience in land conservation and land management. She is on the Advisory Board and served as President of the Madison Morgan Conservancy.
STEVEN MCCARTY oversees the grading operations for Branch Farm & Timberlands. He has over fifteen years experience operating heavy equipment. In addition, Steven has several years experience in farm management and development.
ERIK RAMFOS is an associate broker and certified general appraiser with Branch Farm and Timberland. He has over 20 years experience in real estate sales and appraisals. Prior to real estate, he was in sales and sales management in the safety equipment business.
BRETT SAVAGE is a contract forester with Natural Resource Consulting. He is a Georgia Registered Forester with a B.S in Forestry from Auburn University. Brett has extensive experience in timber inventory analysis and appraisal. He has worked in wood procurement for several large timber companies including Plum Creek.
NOAH SHEALY is a Georgia Registered Forester, Wildlife Biologist and Real Estate Agent with Branch Farm & Timberland, Inc. He has full-time experience managing large properties, with both timber and wildlife objectives, in East Tennessee and Southwest Georgia. He now specializes in forestry consulting and land acquisitions in Northeast Georgia. His diverse knowledge is valuable for landowners focused on holistic land management. He holds a Bachelors in Wildlife Biology and a Master of Forest Resources from the University of Georgia.
DAVID THOMPSON, contract forester for Natural Resource Consultants, is a Georgia and Alabama registered forester as well as a certified Master Timber Harvester. David graduated from Auburn University in 1979 with a B.S. in Forestry. He has worked as southwest area manager for Vardaman Forestry Services and as a timber buyer for Steed and Bristol Timber Companies.
